Rain on a tiled temple courtyard
Japanese-inspired woodblock print
Japanese-inspired woodblock print · Frame TV art from the architecture collection
An architectural scene – cherry blossom over a stone bridge – in the spirit of a travel painting, kept free of text and logos so it works as pure wall art.
The woodblock-inspired style uses flat colour fields, bold outlines and a limited palette, in the spirit of a traditional print without copying any existing one. The medium is japanese-inspired woodblock print.
It pairs well with a warm-white matte on the Frame, which pulls the palette together and hides the panel edge. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It is tagged for spring, when lighter palettes suit the brighter rooms of the season.
The file is delivered at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD, 16:9) as an sRGB JPEG – the native resolution of every Samsung Frame from 43" to 85" and a format every 4K TV, Roku and Fire TV accepts. It is included in the 1,000-design Frame TV art bundle.
