Ravens above a chalk quarry
Monochrome minimalist abstraction
Monochrome minimalist abstraction · Frame TV art from the landscape collection
A landscape of frozen reeds at the lake edge, painted so the eye travels across the width of the screen rather than into a single point – which is what makes it feel like art rather than a photo on a Frame TV.
It is deliberately spare – ink and wash, a few decisive lines and large areas of empty paper – which makes it one of the calmer pieces to leave on a TV all day. The medium is monochrome minimalist abstraction.
It pairs well with a warm-white matte on the Frame, which pulls the palette together and hides the panel edge. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette. It is a winter piece, made to carry the Frame from January until the first blossom scenes go up.
The file is delivered at 3840 × 2160 pixels (4K UHD, 16:9) as an sRGB JPEG – the native resolution of every Samsung Frame from 43" to 85" and a format every 4K TV, Roku and Fire TV accepts. It is included in the 1,000-design Frame TV art bundle.
