About this Frame TV artwork
A contemplative scene of maple bonsai on a dark lacquer table, deliberately empty and calm, made for a room where the television should disappear into the wall.
Watercolor gives it a lightness that suits bright rooms: thin layered washes, a little bloom in the wet areas and plenty of untouched paper. The medium is zen sumi-e ink wash.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. If the image looks too bright, the Frame's Art Mode settings let you lower brightness independently of TV mode; a small reduction goes a long way with this palette. It sits in the fall collection and looks its best from September through November.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,000-piece Frame TV art bundle.
