About this Frame TV artwork
Ravens on a harbour wall – a coastal scene built around a low horizon and open sky, which fills a 16:9 Frame TV naturally and leaves the composition calm.
Drawn in the manner of an old plate engraving, all fine line and cross-hatching on toned paper, it passes for a framed antique from across the room. The medium is vintage plate engraving.
It suits a living-room Frame TV above a sofa, where the wide composition can be seen from across the room. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen. It is part of the Halloween rotation – atmospheric rather than gory, so it can stay on the Frame all October.
Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,000 in the bundle.
