About this Frame TV artwork
A holiday scene of lunar New Year red lanterns and plum blossoms, kept painterly and text-free so it can stay on the TV for the whole season and come back next year.
It is deliberately spare – ink and wash, a few decisive lines and large areas of empty paper – which makes it one of the calmer pieces to leave on a TV all day. The medium is minimal celebratory illustration.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It is tagged for spring, when lighter palettes suit the brighter rooms of the season.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,000-piece Frame TV art bundle.
