About this Frame TV artwork

A holiday scene of easter sunrise over three distant simple crosses, kept painterly and text-free so it can stay on the TV for the whole season and come back next year.

The oil-painting treatment gives it weight: layered, opaque colour, brush marks that follow the forms, and a warm ground showing at the edges of shapes. The medium is traditional oil painting.

Try it in a hallway or study Frame with a wide matte – the extra border makes the composition feel gallery-hung. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit. It is tagged for spring, when lighter palettes suit the brighter rooms of the season.

Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,000 in the bundle.
