About this Frame TV artwork
A painting of hummingbird hovering beside trumpet flowers, handled like a naturalist's plate – attentive to the creature, restrained in the background – and composed for a 4K TV display.
It is deliberately spare – ink and wash, a few decisive lines and large areas of empty paper – which makes it one of the calmer pieces to leave on a TV all day. The medium is restrained ink illustration.
It works well in a bedroom, where the muted tones and low Art Mode brightness keep the TV from glowing at night. For the most convincing result set Art Mode brightness two or three notches below the default and the colour tone to warm; the painted surface then looks matte rather than lit.
Format: 3840 × 2160 JPEG, 16:9, sRGB – ready to upload through the SmartThings app or a USB stick with no editing. Part of the 1,000-piece Frame TV art bundle.
