About this Frame TV artwork
Palm Shadows – a coastal scene built around a low horizon and open sky, which fills a 16:9 Frame TV naturally and leaves the composition calm.
Painted in opaque gouache, it has the slightly chalky, matte surface of a folk print, with clean shapes and no glossy highlights. The medium is graphic gouache.
It suits a living-room Frame TV above a sofa, where the wide composition can be seen from across the room. Leave the Frame's motion sensor on so the panel dims when the room is empty – it makes the difference between a painting and a screen. It belongs to the summer rotation, when coastal light and open skies feel right on the wall.
Supplied as a 3840 × 2160 sRGB JPEG, it needs no resizing or cropping for the Samsung Frame, and displays correctly on LG, Sony, TCL and Hisense art-mode TVs too. This design is one of 1,000 in the bundle.
